Dr. Gabriel Villarrubia González

Doctor from the University of Salamanca in the Department of Computer Science and Automation. Computer Engineer from the Pontifical University of Salamanca (2011), having studied the Master in Intelligent Systems at the University of Salamanca (2012). He has also completed the Master’s Degree in Internet Security (2014) and the Master’s Degree in Information Systems Management (2015). Throughout his training he has followed a well-defined line of research, focused on the application of multi-agent systems to ambient intelligence environments, with special attention to the definition of intelligent architectures and the fusion of information. He has participated in more than 30 research projects, collaborating in the obtaining of 15 intellectual properties, having carried out international stays. In the scientific field, he is the author of more than 40 scientific publications and co-director of 50 degree projects. He is member of the scientific committee of different congresses, being member of the organizing committee of ISAMI, PACBB, MIS4TEL, PAAMS and DCAI. On a professional level, he was named Microsoft Student Partner in 2010. He has won different awards in the development of mobile applications. He is currently focusing his efforts on designing a multi-agent architecture specially designed for the dynamic fusion of information in intelligent environments characterized by being equipped with heterogeneous sensors that capture information from the environment. He is currently a research professor in the Department of Informatics.
