Sergio García González is currently a predoctoral researcher at the University of Salamanca, where he is carrying out his doctoral research in the Department of Computer Science and Automation. As an active member of the ESALAB research group (Expert Systems and Applications Laboratory), his work focuses on robotics and the development of autonomous systems, with particular emphasis on intelligent systems.

His research output reflects a strong specialization in the design of intelligent robotic platforms applied to real-world environments. He is co-author of several publications on service robotics for the retail and hospitality sectors, as well as on automation solutions for recycling and waste management. In addition, he has contributed to the development of monitoring and computer vision systems for traceability in industrial and environmental settings.

Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Intelligent Systems, Sergio has built a career that combines academic innovation with practical application. Since his undergraduate studies, he has participated in numerous research projects and technological innovation competitions.
