Biography

He has a Bachelor’s Degree Engineer in Computer Systems, a Degree in Computer Engineering and a PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of Salamanca where he also completed the Master Degree in Intelligent Systems. His research during his Master Degree has addressed the area of Recommendation Systems and the development of mobile applications for electric bicycles. For 3 years he has worked as an Android developer in projects together with the company Ebikemotion and holds the Associate Android Developer certification.
In 2017 he obtained a predoctoral scholarship from Banco Santander and the University of Salamanca and pursued his PhD studies at the University of Salamanca. He has subsequently worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the area of Recommender Systems.

He is currently Assistant Professor at the Computer Science Department of the University of Salamanca where he teaches in the Computer Engineering Degree, Physics Degree and Chemical Engineering Degree.

His research lines are directly related to the Internet of Things, Smart Sensors, Recommendation Systems, Machine Learning, Prediction Systems and Route Optimization.
