Biography

Rubén has a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Salamanca. He began his background in digital electronics and robotics. He continued his training at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, where he obtained a Master in Artificial Intelligence, where he also got the Expert in Robotics. Then he began to work as a researcher at the University of Salamanca and began to develop his doctoral thesis. His work focuses on the framework of multi-agent systems and Swarm Computing in Smart Cities. During the progress of the thesis he has developed a mock model of a Smart City in which he has implemented robots that circulate through an intelligent city simulating the behavior of vehicles. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Pontifical University of Salamanca where he teaches the Degree in Computer Science and the Degree in Administration and Management of Technological Companies.
